Development of an AI-enabled Low Cost Real Time Mine Subsidence Monitoring, Prediction and Early Warning System for Underground Coal Mines in India

The proposal requests low-cost monitoring of surface deformation over underground coal-mine panels. A local wireless mesh of accessible sensor hardware should measure tilt, displacement, vibration and crack development, with AI/ML analysis, GIS risk maps and SMS/email/app warnings. It should work offline with later synchronization and suit energy-efficient student prototypes.
