Speed as the organising layer

Source

The idea

Z47 sees on-demand speed spreading from grocery delivery into home maintenance, grooming, repairs and logistics. The thesis concerns more predictable supply, clearer prices and repeat use, bringing demand, discovery, distribution and delivery closer together, rather than simply promising ever-shorter delivery times.

Why this is interesting

  • Speed in local services depends on supply density, predictable scope and recovery when a job changes, not only faster discovery or dispatch.
  • A venture thesis describes where an investor sees possibility. It does not by itself identify a narrow buyer, an entry wedge or evidence of demand.

Possible starting points

01

Category-specific rapid response

Standardize diagnosis, pricing, parts and fulfilment for one urgent home or business service.

02

Reliable appointment guarantee

Improve certainty for a planned recurring service where lateness and rescheduling create disproportionate frustration.

Questions to answer

  1. Which use case values certainty or speed often enough to support repeat demand?
  2. Can provider utilization, travel and exception costs sustain the promised response time?
